We’ve spent the last few weeks with a flurry of tasks; Visas, vaccinations and packing. The amount of paper work has been astounding. Everything has to be presented at embarkation or they won’t let us on the ship. Thankfully we have some friends who have done this before and can talk me down when I get totally freaked out. We still need to get our visa for Thailand tomorrow.
We’ll leave Colorado on December 27 and arrived on Bangkok on the 29th. We don’t board the ship until January 5th, so we’ll have some time to explore. We hear the New Years festivities are wonderful with fireworks on the river. We have a trip planned to visit the Ayutthaya UNESCO Temples on New Years Eve, otherwise we’re playing it by ear. I have found a knitting cafe that offers classes….
